My second stay at Serai Tiger Camp began with a delightful sense of familiarity as I encountered the same staff from my previous trip. For those seeking accommodations with a 3-4 star standard, I highly recommend the service at Camp Serai. I would rate them 4 stars for their exceptional service. The rooms, while comfortable, align more closely with a 3-star rating. Similarly, the food, both in terms of choice and taste, would earn around 3 stars. However, the overall experience approaches a 3.5-star rating. Speaking of service, I must commend the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness. They are always on hand, ready to assist with a warm smile. The food is truly delightful, offering a home-like experience with a variety of options. For bird enthusiasts, this location is an ideal spot. I've spotted numerous bird species in the vicinity of the resort. Additionally, the evening sunset view from the Machan is simply mesmerizing. If I plan another trip to Taboda Tiger Reserve, I will undoubtedly choose to stay once again at Serai Tiger Camp.

We were at Camp Serai Tiger for 5 nights in March and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay whilst visiting Tadoba-Andari Tiger Reserve. On arrival we received an extremely warm welcome from the owner, Mr Mukul Rao and all his team and for the whole of our stay nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Our ‘tent’ was spacious with a very comfortable bed, air conditioning and a well-appointed en-suite. It was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The Camp is very thoughtfully planned out and Mukul has imprinted his love of nature all around with fruit trees and flowering plants to attract birds and insects. The food was plentiful, delicious and expertly prepared and served, and when we did find some of the dishes a little too spicy, Chef very kindly adjusted the spice levels of our dishes or provided European cuisine for us. Our 10 safaris started from various gates in both the core and buffer zones and all presented us with wonderful sightings. We’ve been on many safaris in the past but to have Mukul join us on our safaris was an absolute pleasure. It was a privilege to share his immense passion, knowledge and expertise of the park and its wildlife. We have some wonderful memories of our time there. Although we were only at Camp Serai Tiger for a short period, it felt like home and we didn’t want to leave. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We hope to be able to visit again in the future and would definitely recommend staying here when visiting TATR.

Tadoba March 2024 We stayed at Camp Serai Tiger for 2 nights 3 days. Our experience here exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff is very attentive, respectful and eager to help. I would like to recognize owner of the property Mukulji. His passion speaks through his actions. The every detail of the camp is thoughtful and camp is as beautiful as his friendly aura. Be it Natural Bamboo canopy of the entrance or the hundreds of plants of camp which attracts bees and birds. It's a little jungle near main jungle and we loved it. Definitely going to visit again and totally recommend. Thank you Pallavi Thane.

Mukulji said 'whether you stay with us is separate... please book your safaris soon' This attitude immediately resonated with me and we booked camp serai tiger on Tadoba in the 14bed dorm. Due to availability we were upgraded to the 10bed dorm. I was with a handicapped senior friend. The staff was outstanding - punctual, courteous, helpful and prompt. Gopalji, Yuvraj, Chayan Singh and Yadavji (cook) are a few names I remember but all the others were excellent too. Location is great and the food is delicious - had a new dessert, daal and vegetables daily. They have two machaans where you can do some night sightings if you brave the mosquitos (use some citronella/nilgiri oil) They do a wood fired barbecue on demand!

I had the pleasure of returning to Camp Serai tiger in Tadoba I stayed there many years ago and found it to be fabulous place. The return visit didn't disappoint. The location is excellent, away from the Mohurli gate area so you can enjoy the peace but only a short ride to get to the safari, all of which were organised by the resort. The garden area was a delight. Well tended and full of flowers and butterflies, so peaceful. The communication prior was first class. I never had to wait to long for reply to my enquiries despite the time difference. The staff are fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble and a special thank you to chain Singh who ran the restaurant, organised drinking water and food for every safari and always had a smile on his face. The food was good and plentiful. Plenty of choice and the desserts were delicious. The tents are super comfortable and spacious with a/,c if needed and a fabulous ensuite with good water pressure for the shower....definitely needed after the safari. Thank you everyone at serai for making it such a wonderful stay and hope to return soon
